EU Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Věra Jourová has been nominated for a second term in the European Commission, Politico reports. Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš announced he will nominate Jourová to continue her work in the commission, where she has served since 2014. "Our Commissioner Věra Jourová was very successful," Babiš said. "They don't like her in all countries, also in our region, so it was quite difficult for her, but she got excellent results." Jourová said in a statement her country "could have a strong economic or digital portfolio."
