The Italian data protection authority, the Garante, fined the Rousseau online platform $56,000 for violating privacy rules, The Associated Press reports. The platform, which runs the 5-Star Movement's website, was found to be susceptible to hackers, according to the country's DPA. Rousseau, which was fined last year for site lapses, now has 120 days to comply with protection standards.
