Hackers are selling data of more than 600,000 Email.it users on the dark web, ZDNet reports. The hackers said the intrusion occurred in January 2018 and data includes passwords, email content and security questions for those who used the Italian email service between 2007 and 2020. “We took any possible sensitive data from their server,” the group wrote on its website, adding they requested “a little bounty.” A spokesperson said the company declined to pay and notified the Italian Postal Police.
