The Italian Competition and Market Authority announced it has launched a noncompliance procedure against Facebook in regards to a 2018 order on personal data use. The authority alleges Facebook has not fully complied with an order to be more transparent in its terms of service about user data collection and transfers to third parties. According to the authority, users "(continue) not to be informed by the company, with clarity and immediacy, as to the collection and use of their data for remuneration purposes."
