Israel's Privacy Protection Authority published recommendations for organizations to follow when hiring privacy officers. While Israel's law does not have a requirement for hiring a privacy officer, the PPA said it recommends organizations hire someone in the position. The PPA lists the experience a privacy officer should have to be considered for the role and a rundown of their potential responsibilities. The agency is accepting comments on the recommendations until Nov. 29.
