More than 140 gigabytes of contact information for people in the U.S. and Europe was exposed online through a database belonging to Israeli marketing company Straffic, BankInfoSecurity reports. Exposed information includes names, email and physical addresses, and phone numbers. The company said it “did not find evidence of any data misuse or data loss” and did not provide details on when the data was exposed, for how long or how many were impacted. A report from Amazon Web Services said the database contains 49 million unique email addresses.
