Axios reports Israeli cyber intelligence firm NSO has been negotiating with the Jordanian government since late 2020 on a deal to sell surveillance technology. The report states, “the technology related to new spyware for collecting intelligence and other technology to monitor messaging services.” An NSO spokesman said it does not “comment on our contacts with states,” adding the information reported from sources “is not being deemed as a confirmation of the alleged facts.”
