A third iteration of the Washington Privacy Act is back this year, with a broader scope and new provisions that signal an attempt to compromise on some contested issues within the previous two failed proposals. IAPP Staff Writer Jennifer Bryant spoke with privacy professionals closely following the proposal to explore details of this third iteration, its changes from previous versions, and whether it is enough to reach consensus and achieve approval in 2021.
