The Irish Data Protection Commission followed up on a whistleblower complaint on Apple's prior handling of Siri voice recordings. DPC Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle issued a statement saying the commission, which handles claims and enforcement against Apple in the EU, addressed the Siri privacy concerns last year but has "followed up again" in light of new claims from former contractor Thomas le Bonniec. Doyle added the European Data Protection Board is drawing up guidance for voice assistants.
