Irish Data Protection Commissioner Helen Dixon anticipates handing down a final decision to Twitter over EU General Data Protection Regulation violations "very soon," The Wall Street Journal reports. "Seven months later, we’re ready to adopt the final decision," Dixon said, referring to the time that has gone by since submitting a draft decision that triggered the GDPR dispute-resolution mechanism. Meanwhile, Dixon expects the Irish Commercial Court to rule "early in 2021" on Facebook's appeal of a DPC order to suspend EU-U.S. data transfers.
