Ireland’s Data Protection Commission released a summary of requirements on a new online breach notification form. The new form includes additional questions and detailed options for the nature of the breach and guides users through a series of questions on whether the breach relates to cross-border processing. It also enables users to include additional details on security measures, including those implemented prior to a breach, deficiencies identified and steps taken to mitigate impact on data subjects.
