The Information and Privacy Commission New South Wales released its Annual Report 2021/22. Privacy Commissioner Samantha Gavel said a key focus over the year was working with government agencies “to promote and protect privacy rights and reduce privacy risks, particularly in relation to projects and services involving the use of digital technology.” The IPC finalized 764 information access and privacy reviews and complaints, and provided compliance support to agencies in 387 cases during the reporting period.
