CBS News reports on the tech trends to watch out for in 2015 at the Consumer Electronics Association’s 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show next week. Connected cars will be represented at the show more than ever before, the report states; Audi, BMW, Chrysler and Ford will all be showcasing the new technology, among others. Wearable tech is also anticipated to make a big showing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) will be a main theme at the show, with more than 900 exhibitors showing products. Meanwhile, Tech Times reports that IoT continues to grow in popularity despite consumers’ privacy concerns, citing a new study indicating 65 percent of U.S. consumers are “moderately or extremely open to the idea of adopting smart home technology.” Editor’s Note: The IAPP publications team will be reporting live from the CES event next week.
