Last year, the IAPP teamed with TRUSTe to field a survey that produced the report “How IT and Infosec Value Privacy,” which gave us great data about the role of privacy in reducing the risk of data breach and new insight into how privacy and information technology work together. This year, we are benchmarking how organizations conduct privacy assessments, data mapping and inventory, and their preparations for the EU General Data Protection Regulation’s obligations regarding data protection officers. We can only get useful information with your participation, of course, but we assure you this survey is short; it should take no more than 10 minutes of your time. This is our last scheduled survey before we begin work on the 2017 Privacy Salary Report for release next year.
