A class-action suit has been filed against Facebook's Instagram over alleged invasion of privacy related to unauthorized access to mobile device cameras, Law Street reports. The filing to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California claims that Instagram "is constantly accessing users’ smartphone camera feature while the application is open and monitors users without permission." The complaint adds that Instagram's privacy policy mentions nothing about camera access unrelated to the app.
