India’s National Health Authority modified the draft Health Data Management policy with an eye toward increasing the privacy of citizens’ personal data, Live Mint reports. The revised draft policy would serve as a guide across the National Digital Health Ecosystem, which is based on the principle of federated architecture. The NDHE would allow for interoperability between independent and decentralized information systems, all while enhancing the privacy and security of individuals’ personal data.
