Mexico's National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data unanimously voted to file a challenge to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation regarding the government's proposed biometric cellphone registry, Consumotic reports. INAI President Blanca Lilia Ibarra said the decree from the government will bring "different types of effects on human rights, access to information and protection of personal data."
