The College of Nurses of Ontario is investigating whether the personal information of its 300 employees and 195,500 members was compromised in a ransomware attack, CBC News reports. The governing body for nurses said it discovered the hack Sept. 8, and a post on the dark web claims to have stolen data from CNO, including court settlements that contain full names, addresses and phone numbers. The college said there is no evidence that employees’ personal information was affected.
