The Guardian reports on "Machine Hallucinations," an immersive art installation at The Shed in New York City. The audiovisual construct, created by artist Refik Anadol, aims "to transform the processing of data into surreal hypnosis," the report states. The free exhibit is part of Project Liberty, a $250 million undertaking "to shift data ownership from private mega-corporations to individual users" and attempts to present abstract concepts such as data dignity, data ownership, digital footprints and decentralization in a visceral, multi-sensory experience.
