The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office will review the data protection practices of fertility and period-tracking apps. An ICO-commissioned poll showed transparency and security concerns among users. "This review is intended to establish both the good and bad of how the apps are working currently," ICO Deputy Commissioner of Regulatory Policy Emily Keaney said, adding the ICO's next steps and potential regulatory action will follow further consultation.
