U.K. Information Commissioner's Office Executive Director of Technology and Innovation Simon McDougall, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, wrote a blog post unveiling the results of a recent survey on ethical considerations in the decision-making process. The survey sought feedback from organizations on experiences with and applications of data ethics with specific focus on current practices, supporting organizational structures, decision-making processes and compliance programs. McDougall noted COVID-19 put data ethics "into sharper focus, with ongoing innovation around personal data usage at every stage of the crisis."
