As part of its ongoing call for input for its framework for auditing artificial intelligence, the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office looks at the challenges organizations may face as they craft AI systems designed to help fulfill data subject access requests. ICO Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence Reuben Binns writes about the use of AI systems for access, erasure and rectification requests under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and where potential exemptions may pop up.
