The Information Commissioner’s Office is investigating the Brexit Party following complaints it failed to comply with data subject access requests, Sky News reports. According to a Brexit Party spokesperson, most of the requests are from the May European elections when there was a “coordinated attempt by campaigners to flood” the party with requests following claims the party improperly acquired people’s addresses. The ICO has asked the Brexit Party to answer the DSARs by 22 Nov. “We have responded to the vast majority of letters. Around 0.2% are currently being dealt with and we will meet the deadline agreed with the ICO,” the spokesperson said.
