The U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office announced applications are open for the third-annual Practitioner Award for Excellence in Data Protection. The recipient will be awarded at the Data Protection Practitioners’ Conference 6 April in Manchester, England. “It has been an honour to acknowledge members of the data protection community who have had a huge impact when it comes to protecting people’s rights,” Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham said. Nominations, considered by a panel of judges, will be accepted until 3 March.
