A survey conducted by IBM’s Institute for Business Value finds business leaders are embracing the potential of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, ZDNet reports. Of the 1,500 business leaders polled, 60 percent believes the GDPR has the potential to improve privacy, security and data management. Other findings include 80 percent saying the GDPR is motivating them to cut down on the data they collect and store, 70 percent said they are disposing of the data they have, and 78 percent is allowing fewer people to access any stored information.
