The California Consumer Privacy Act has caught the attention of privacy professionals; however, that doesn't mean compliance is widespread. Throughout 2019, the IAPP and OneTrust have asked U.S.-based privacy professionals to benchmark their progress on compliance efforts over the year. The third and final survey has been published, and it shows organizations have continued to make progress toward full compliance with the CCPA. While plenty of organizations have been able to make headway, there is still a lot of work to be done before Jan. 1 and beyond.
