The IAPP is launching the Ian Kerr Memorial Lecture Series, which will be an annual fixture at the Canada Privacy Symposium, in honor of the late law and technology scholar. Kerr, who died in August 2019 at age 54, was the Canada research chair in ethics, law and technology for the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and a significant contributor to the privacy community.
