The IAPP and EY conducted a joint research project this past summer in which 21 privacy leaders from industry, government and academia shared their views on how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted privacy priorities, practices and programs. The findings were broken up into a five-part series that included looks at immediate industry response, balancing strategic priorities with the new reality the pandemic presents, surveillance and data sharing for public good, and building trust through industry action, legislation and enforcement.
