Husna Siddiqi, CIPP/E, and Dalia Khader explain how a cryptographic concept called "homomorphic encryption" may be able to help assuage privacy concerns around the app. "If implemented in its full form, HE could simplify and shorten the debates around public interest versus privacy," they write.
