A recent digital security report, LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ ThreatMetrix global cybercrime report found that Hong Kong ranks in the top five destinations for cyberattacks, the South China Morning Post reports. The report found that for the second quarter of 2018, four of the top five sources for cyberattacks all had Hong Kong among their top targets. In the first nine months of 2018, companies and residents lost $256.4 million to cybercriminals, and businesses experienced more than 9,000 attacks.
