According to a guilty plea submitted in court, a former ADT home security technician admitted to secretly accessing home security cameras of more than 200 customers, BuzzFeed News reports. Over more than four years, Telesforo Aviles accessed customers’ accounts more than 9,600 times and added his personal email to customers’ accounts, court documents stated. ADT is facing three federal lawsuits related to the breach. The company has moved to dismiss the suits and said it is resolving customer concerns individually.
