The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has begun a second attempt at launching a cyber coordination center designed to improve the defenses and boost information sharing across the health care sector, GovInfoSecurity reports. The Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center will officially replace the center launched in 2017. A spokeswoman for HHS said the mission of HC3 will be to "support the defense of the sector's data and information systems by coordination and information sharing within the sector and cultivating cybersecurity resilience, regardless of an organization's technical capacity."
