The IAPP hopes to be Austin-bound again in 2016, and we need your help. We’ve submitted six sessions for consideration for South by Southwest Interactive 2016 (SXSW). The SXSW organizers rely heavily on crowdsourcing to select their sessions, and voting for the 2016 programming began August 10 and runs through September 3. Our proposed sessions feature privacy pros and other experts on how to become a female leader in privacy and tech; how big tech firms protect consumer privacy; revenge porn; innovations in privacy; surveillance and body cameras, and “new tech, old social norms.” To vote, head to http://panelpicker.sxsw.com and click on our sessions.
