A recent study by Integris Software found that nearly 70% of health care information technology executives are confident they know where their organization’s data is stored. The study surveyed 258 business and IT executives from health care, technology and financial services organizations about data privacy and security. Key findings from the study include 53% of respondents required access to numerous data sources before they had a clear understanding of where their sensitive data lived, 70% of respondents felt comfortable in their data privacy management, and 95% of respondents reported they have data privacy teams to protect against cyberattacks.
