Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Johannes Caspar, has opened noncompliance procedures against Facebook, Reuters reports. The social media company has been accused of abusing user data following the Cambridge Analytica revelations. A spokesman for Caspar said the next step will be to hold a hearing with Facebook on the accusations. Of the 87 million Facebook users affected by the revelations, 3 million are from Europe.
