"New World Hackers," the group that compromised the BBC and President-elect Donald Trump's campaign website, is comprised of three main hackers, two of them are in college, ZDNet reports. "'Ownz,' the founder of the group, is a student in his early 20s with British and Russian parentage who studies computing at a university in Colorado," the report states. "Another one of the core members, known as 'Prophet,' is in his late teens and studies at a college in the U.K." Details around the identity of the third member of the group, "Zain," are still unclear. Additionally, "ZDNet has learned that the group relies on at least three nonmembers who work to support the group logistically, such as hosting its dedicated servers for its attack tools," the report adds.
