Following the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica revelations, The Guardian reports readers began asking questions about the ways its publisher handles customer data. The Guardian’s Paul Chadwick published the responses Guardian management had to readers’ questions, such as what information about a reader could reach Facebook, whether or not the data shared depended on if the user was a Facebook or Guardian member, and the steps Guardian News & Media has taken to ensure Facebook has not misused any of its information. “While we have recently run a number of investigative articles relating to Facebook ... we are satisfied that there has been no breach in the terms of conditions that we have with Facebook in respect of the relationship described above,” GNM management said.
