In this Q&A for Ghostery Enterprise, GroupM Director of Digital Privacy and Partner Activation Rachel Glasser talks about vendor management and ensuring “ongoing privacy compliance in the marketing cloud.” Glasser says GroupM “spends a lot of time internally reviewing, researching and vetting different technology partners,” noting clients seem most concerned about the collection and use of data “in an appropriate way while being transparent with their customer base as to not alienate them and to help continue to build and reinforce trust.” Glasser also shares recent privacy challenges clients have asked her to assist with, including recommendations on how to comply with new legislation, noting, “Clients are showing clear efforts to be transparent with consumers and offer them a choice when it comes to privacy.”
