The Greek Ministry of Justice has announced a public consultation on the country's draft law on the protection of personal data. The law aims to adapt Greece's current data protection laws to the EU General Data Protection Regulation while also transposing the Data Protection Law Enforcement Directive. In July, the European Commission called for Greece to be sanctioned by the Court of Justice of the European Union for failing to transpose the directive.
