The Executive Committee of the Global Privacy Assembly has released a statement regarding COVID-19 and the challenges it presents to maintaining data protection protocols. The GPA said it is "confident that data protection requirements will not stop the critical sharing of information to support efforts to tackle this global pandemic." Additionally, the GPA pointed to the resources page it has launched to aid privacy professionals' efforts during the pandemic.
