The Indian Express reports Niti Aayog, a policy think tank for the Indian government, published a draft framework outlining how third parties can access data across sectors. The Data Empowerment and Protection Architecture hinges on a consent management system that would allow data sharing between financial, health care and telecommunications sectors. While major banks have piloted the architecture since July 2019, the framework is set to extend to other sectors in the coming months following an Oct. 1 public consultation deadline.
