The Wall Street Journal reports Google is set to roll out a tool that will limit cookies tracking. The tool will appear as a dashboard-like function in Google Chrome browsers and provide internet users with more information about what cookies are tracking them before offering options to end some tracking. Cookies installed by profit-seeking third parties will be the tools' primary target, while it will not affect cookies that ease user experiences. (Registration may be required to access this story.)
