Axios reports Google is warning advertising partners about what proposed U.S. antitrust bills may do to their businesses. Google reportedly sent emails to small- and medium-sized companies regarding legislation circulating in U.S. Congress that could "cost your business time and money," aiming to create more opposition to the proposed bills. A Google spokesperson said the work by Congress could stymie businesses that used Google's advertising tools to "adapt, recover and reach new customers throughout the pandemic."
