Her Majesty's Government of Gibraltar issued an advisory on how to proceed with data transfers following the end of the EU-U.K. transition period. The advisory notes the free flow of personal data between the U.K. and Gibraltar will continue under an adequacy agreement. Any incoming data from the EU to Gibraltar after Dec. 31 will only be lawful with approved transfer mechanisms, which are listed in the advisory. Meanwhile, Latvia's data protection authority, the Data State Inspectorate, issued its own advisory on third-country data transfers to the U.K.
