The Cartel Senate of the German Federal Court of Justice ruled the Federal Cartel Office, Bundeskartellamt, can enforce its ban on sections of the tech company's terms of use. The Bundeskartellamt prohibited Facebook from processing data it collected from independent websites without further user consent. The Federal Court overturned a decision from the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court to grant Facebook an order suspending the Bundeskartellamt's decision. (Original article is in German.)
