Germany’s Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Ulrich Kelber issued an opinion on rules for checking employee vaccination. Kelber said employers can monitor employees’ vaccination or test data “for access control and then delete them after access or at the end of the respective day.” Kelber said rules on employee vaccination or testing status in the workplace “could have been implemented in a much more data-protection-friendly way.”
