George Washington University Law School announced the creation of its Center for Law and Technology. The center's focus will include the academic areas of privacy technology and intellectual property while acting as "a hub for thought leadership, facilitating interdisciplinary scholarship, promoting international discourse, and forging connections between academics and practitioners." The university bulked up its privacy technology program before the center's launch, recently adding three full-time privacy technology-focused faculty members.
