Gallup reports its poll of 1,522 Americans revealed respondents are divided on whether big tech companies need more regulation. The study revealed 48% of respondents are in favor of more regulations, 40% felt current regulations were enough, and 10% either support decreased regulations or had no opinion. Views on big tech in general were also mixed with 46% of respondents saying they viewed the companies positively compared to the 33% with a negative view. The demographics of the poll showed that 60% of self-identified liberals, union members, college graduates and Democrats are in favor of increased regulations.
