The U.S. Federal Trade Commission released a resource designed to help small businesses and nonprofits with cybersecurity issues. The page outlines tips on 12 different topics, such as phishing, ransomware, vendor security, cyberinsurance, physical security and tech support scams. One of the sections has an overview of the cybersecurity framework from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The sections break down the ways cyberattacks are conducted and what businesses can do to recover from an incident, as well as offer checklists companies can follow to ensure they have the proper cybersecurity measures in place.
