The U.S. Federal Trade Commission announced the finalization of its settlement with Swiss game developer Miniclip on false claims regarding the company's participation in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act safe harbor program. As part of the settlement, which received a 5–0 vote from the FTC, Miniclip is prohibited from making similar misrepresentations and will be held to compliance and record-keeping requirements.
